Barbara J. Whitt (nee: Horvath) age 66, of Akron, passed away December 10, 2014. She was the loving mother of Jeff (Mindi) and Bryan (Elizabeth) Whitt. The dear sister of Mike (Stephanie), Steve (Barbara), Chuck (Patty) and Chris Horvath, a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and niece of Rosa Bank.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Helen Horvath (nee Tall), stepmother Judy and aunt and uncle Annie and Alex Zoltai.
Barbara will be remembered by all that knew her; for her love of animals, especially cats, a passion for Hungarian cooking, and the enjoyment of a good, hearty laugh!
Family will receive friends Sunday December 14 from 5-8pm at the CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 3653 W. Market St. FAIRLAWN. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday December 15 10am at St. Mary Church 750 S. Main St. Akron. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
