Betty Garrison Frederick born October 6, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to Grady and Emma Garrison entered into rest on October 11, 2013. She was a graduate of Kent State University and taught first and second grade in the Akron Public School System for Thirty years.
She and her husband Laston Frederick were longtime residents of Medina County. They built their home and loved their land in Sharon Center.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Dr. Guy Garrison.
She is survived by her brother Robert Garrison, daughters Jane Kenyon (Stephen), and Sara. Two loving grandchildren Hillary and Adrian Kenyon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17th, 1pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Chapel 1361 W. Market Street, Akron Ohio 44313, Rev. Mark Pruitt, officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Endowment Foundation.
