Blazo P. Kovacevich Sr.

He was very proud of his Serbian heritage and attended St. Demetrius and St. Archangel Michael churches.

He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was General Manager of the Furniture Division Cooperative Enterprises of Akron and had many sales jobs. He was a member of the Kosovo Men’s Choir and the Isidor Bajich Choir; an avid card, bingo player, and a wonderful dancer.

He is survived by his children Debbie (Raul) Snyder, Blazo (Lynette) Kovacevich, and Stefan Kovacevich; sisters Gertrude Popovich, Vida Rector, and Joyce McDonald, Mitchell Kovacevich and Patricia (Mike) Allen; grandchildren Christy (Cameron) Swanton, Michael Snyder, Alec, Brady, Tony Kovacevich , and Mason Vore; great-grandchildren Tyla, Cameron, Craig Swanton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday, June 25th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Walters Funeral Home at Rose Hill 3653 W Market St., Fairlawn, OH, with the Parastas Service at 7:30 PM.
