

She was the beloved wife of Pastor Cang Dang for 61 years, a devoted mother of thirteen children, and a loving grandmother to thirty-four grandchildren. Her top two priorities in life were serving God and spending time with family. Duyen was an inspiration to others because of her giving spirit and dedication to serving others. She lived a life filled with laughter and love. She was well-loved by all who have had the privilege to know her. She will be greatly missed by many. Duyen will be remembered as a bright shining light in the various communities and churches she served. Her memory and legacy will live in us forever.

Dr. Minh Dang (wife, Dr. Xuan-Hien Dang), their children Matthew, James, Nathan, and Jeremy; Dr. Son Dang (wife, Lan-Anh T. Dang), their children Samuel, Isaiah, and Joshua; Hanh Dang-Nguyen (husband, Lam Nguyen), their children Dr. John, Andrew, and Peter; Phuc Dang-Le (husband, Diem Le), their children Daniel, Timothy, and Tracy;Anh Dang (husband, Qui Tran), their children Lyann, Benjamin, and Rachel; Tan Dang-Lam (husband, Dr. Philip Lam), their children Christina, Cindy, and Christopher; Hien Dang (husband, Tuan Le); Vinh Dang (husband, Lang Nguyen) and their children Alexander, Austin, and Allie; Dr. Toan Dang-Nguyen (husband, Dr. Hoai-Nghia Nguyen) and their children Jaden and Faith; Dr. Thang Dang (wife, Holly Dang), their children Emma, Sarah, Hannah, Leah, and Micah; Dr. Loi Dang-Nguyen (husband, Dr. Hoai-Tri Nguyen) and their children Tyler and Lauren; Dr. Huy Dang (wife, Stephanie Dang) and their children Caleb and Elijah. Sister of Nhan Nguyen and cousin of Tuyet Nguyen.
Preceded in death by her parents, Du Nguyen and Nho Nguyen Thi, mother-in-law Kien Phan and father-in-law Ho Dang, brothers Dinh Nguyen and Chung Nguyen, son Hoa Dang, and grandson Zachary Nguyen.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 14, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, OH 44304, (330) 376-6400; and the Funeral Service will be in The Chapel on Saturday, July 15, at 9:00 AM.
