Elizabeth lived and attended school systems in Montgomery, Alabama prior to relocating to Cleveland, OH in 1954. While in Cleveland, OH, she attended John Hay High School.
Elizabeth married Thomas Walker in 1955, and she gave birth to 5 children: Thomas Walker Jr. (Kim), Marzell Walker, Diane Walker-Barnes (Charles), Ramona Walker, and Adolph Walker.
The union to Thomas Walker Sr. dissolved, and Elizabeth met and remarried Donald E. Green in 1982. They relocated to Akron, OH, where she resided for over 40 years.
Elizabeth worked and retired from AT&T, formerly known as Ohio Bell, after 25 years of service. After retirement, Elizabeth dedicated her time to help raise her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and knitting as hobbies as well as attending to her Alaskan Husky named Shadow.
Elizabeth professed the Lord Jesus Christ to be her Savior at a young age and attended church throughout her life. Her most prominent church home was Stone Deliverance Evangelical Temple in Akron, OH under the tutelage of the late Mary L. Stone for which she was a faithful and dedicated member for over 30 years.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by the following: her mother and father, Annie Jane and David; her brothers, Samuel Lee Jackson and William Beard; and her former spouses, Thomas Walker Sr. and Donald E. Green.
Elizabeth leaves the following loved ones to cherish her precious memories: her 5 children, Thomas Jr., Marzell, Diane, Ramona, and Adolph; her sister, Beatrice Beard; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
