Eric is survived by his sons Colin and Roman and their mother, Marijana Simicevic-Sonnie; his parents Eric Victor Sonnie (Andrea) and Antonia (Gentiluomo) Esser (Tim), brothers and sisters Christine Sonnie (Jon Sears), Christopher Esser (Katie), Nicholas Esser (Brittney) and Jennifer Esser; grandfather Emery Hudacsek; and he was a nephew, cousin, uncle & friend to many.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Thomas Sonnie, and uncles Vincent Gentiluomo, John and William Sonnie, and cousin Judy Vozar.
Eric graduated from St. Joseph High School, Class of 1987, and is a graduate of the National Auto Dealers Academy in Washington D.C. He enjoyed spending time with Colin & Roman at sporting events, golfing, cars, tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 3rd from 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM with the Funeral Service following at 6:30 PM in the Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 W Market St. Akron, OH 44333.
