Joseph Pesko, age 89, passed away January 23, 2015. Born on July 16, 1925, he spent his entire life in Akron. He worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 40 years and loved to travel, especially with family and friends. Joseph also loved his yard, especially his beautiful flower gardens and doing many projects around the house.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Julia, his brothers Frank, Mike and Charles, his sisters Ann and Mary, and his first wife Lucy.
Joseph leaves behind his loving wife Jane, daughters Cheryl League and Dayna Hughes, grandchildren Marley (Amanda) Hughes and Shelby Hughes, 4 step-sons and 15 step-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, notably his loving niece, Patty McCartney.
As Joseph requested, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
