Jack was born on June 12, 1942 in Monroe, Michigan to Kenneth and Phyllis (Monnett) Hotchkiss. He graduated from Monroe High School and then went to Michigan State University. Jack began his business career at Lazarus Department Store in Columbus, Ohio. He met his wife, Jeanne by the pool at their apartment complex. Jack spent nearly 50 years in the sporting goods industry, where he turned his passion for the outdoors into a lifelong business.
Jack loved hunting and fishing, but above all, he loved his family. Jack is now reunited with his son, Ryan Hotchkiss.
Jack will be deeply missed by his wife of 47 years, Jeanne. He leaves behind his son, Derek (Jennifer) Hotchkiss, daughters, Allison (Richard) Zweifel, and Karen (Ryan) Chapman, grandchildren, Clare, Grace, Ava, Max, Adelle, Will, Jack, and Bumpy. He also leaves behind his brother Glen and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at West Richfield Cemetery, 4219 Broadview Road, Richfield, Ohio.
