Beloved mother, and grandmother, Lori A Neidert, age 74, passed away on October 11, 2025 after a short battle with Vascular Dementia. She was loved by everyone who knew her and she deeply loved her entire family.
Lori was born in Akron, Ohio July 23, 1951 where she was a lifelong area resident. Lori worked in the banking industry for 34 years then retired from Sterling Jewelers with 14 years service. Lori was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Cuyahoga Falls. Through the years Lori was a member of many Organizations, and since 1984, a member of Daughter’s of Scotia (Scottish Woman’s Organization), Lady Annie Lauder Lodge #177. Lori was a proud member of the Mogadore Alumni Association, class of 1969.Lori enjoyed making needle work crafts and was a 34 year member of Stan Hywet Needlework Guild, and a 16 year member of the Embroiderers Guild of America, and a member of Western Reserve Sampler Guild. Lori volunteered her time working at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens.
Lori was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard H. Neidert, mother, Mary A.(Getz) Skeen, her father, John R Skeen. Lori is survived by her daughter, Bridget (David) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Selena Miksch (Cody), Gary McLaughlin, Erin McLaughlin; two great-grandchildren, Ellie, and Dorothy; her husband's sister, Dian (Gary) Verbosky, sister-in-law, Sandy Neidert; and nieces, nephew, cousins, aunt and uncle.
A memorial service will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W. Market St., 12:00 PM, Saturday 11/15/25. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home two hour prior to the service. Private interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
