Theresse Maria Wade

Teri was born on August 14th, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. She married James Galvin Wade on June 24, 1972 and together they raised two sons.

She was a graduate of the University of Akron in speech pathology. She worked a full career in technology and retired from IBM, where her focus on details and administration were sought after. She was a volunteer at Stewart’s Caring Place, a board member of Gospel Meets Symphony, a member of St. Sebastian Church, and a strong supporter of the sports & academic programs at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School. She truly believed in continuous education and was a life-long student of the culinary arts.

She is survived by her husband, James; sons, Justin (Rachael) and Joshua (Sofia); grandchildren, Maya, Miles, Caleb, Emory, Ava; sister, Christi (Joel) Cornette; brother-in-law Robert (Stepanie) Wade. Teri also leaves behind many beloved friends that she adopted as her own family. Her care and love will be missed

for eternity.

Visitation (10am to 11am) and funeral (11am to 12pm) will be Monday, December 4, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W Market St., Akron, Ohio; Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
