Vivian Johns

VIVIAN ROSE (BELL) JOHNS, Born 11/22/1924 in Culver, OR and raised in Vale, OR. She passed away on 03/13/2014 in San Antonio, TX.

She and her beloved husband, George Johns, had been married 50 years prior to his death 02/13/1996. They met at McGowan Air Base in Boise, ID in the summer of 1945 and married 12/01/1945. They spent their life in Parma, OH where they raised 5 daughters and 1 son.

Vivian is preceeded in death by her son, Richard S. Colgrove; parents, Walter L. and Ruth (Rankin) Bell; her twin sister, Violet Sadie Beacham and sister, Wanda Gill. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Pike, Joyce Brown (Ron), Elaine Pena (Tony), Georgia Gallagher (Bernard (d.)), Nina Griffiths (Thomas), and son, Arist Johns (Beth); 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Irma Willette (Wayne), Martha Perez (Joe (d.)), brothers, Walter Bell (Doris), Jim Bell (Gerri), and Gary Bell (Pepper), and numerous nieces and nephews.

She loved her pets, gardening and sewing, having been a seamstress her entire life.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 21 at 10am at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, 4548 Wallings Rd., North Royalton, OH. Rev Father Costa Keares, officiating
