Winifred “Wini” Curtis Burkett, age 90 of Akron, passed away November 12, 2012. She was the beloved sister of the late Vi Julian and dear aunt of Cheryl Hoschar, Debbie Albertson and Harold Julian and great aunt of 4. She also leaves behind her dear friend Janet Hillyard.
A memorial service will be held in Wini’s honor at 10am Monday November 19, 2012 at The Chapel of Prayer Baptist Church, 1811 Britain Rd. Akron, OH 44310. Reverend Sherman L. Bailey will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Wini’s name to the Chapel of Prayer Church Building Fund.
