Donna Sue Stevens

Donna was born April 5, 1943 in Albion, IL. Her parents were Charles and Edith (Williams) Meserole. She married Carl Stevens January 19, 1957 in Fairfield, IL.

Donna was a homemaker and loved to work in her flower garden, Iris was her favorite. She loved her grandchildren very much.

She is survived by her husband; Carl of Calhoun, IL, 2 daughters; Karla (Paul) Tarpley of Mt. Carmel, IL, Stacey (Dennis Jr. “D.J.") Thacker of Chauncey, IL , son; Ron (Lisa) Stevens of Fairfield, IL, 4 sisters; Charlene Hellmeyer of Albion, IL, Glenna Ruth (Ralph) Tottleben of Carterville, IL, Janice (Ira “Hoppy”) Hopkins of Albion, IL and Sharon (Cebert “Butch) Wilson of Sparta, TN. Also she is survived by 10 grandchildren; Karissa (Rick) Perry, Kimberly (David) Frazier, Kinsey (Clay) Whitaker, Kourtney (Drew) Goff, Raleigh, Alexis, Dalton, Raegan, Austin, Dallas Thacker, 6 great-grandchildren; Zack, Abby Sutton, Noah Whitaker, Rayne, Dawson, and Karleigh Goff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers; Ray, Jack and Bill and 3 sisters; Dorothy Fitzgerald, Betty Dean Murphy and Phyllis Meserole and 1 infant brother and 1 infant sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 10:00am at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL. Burial will follow in Parkersburg Cemetery in Parkersburg, IL. Visitation will be held Monday, June 8, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
