Ezra Earl McKenzie

Earl was born January 16, 1942 in Grayville, IL. His parents were Ernest “Ernie” Clyde and Ida Marie (Mobley) McKenzie. He married Janath Brandon, January 14, 1961 in Grayville, IL and she preceded him in death 2005.

He was a farmer and a welder for Caterpillar. He loved the outdoors, loved the water, fishing, hunting, tube-riding and pontoon boating.

Earl is survived by his children; Michael Wayne McKenzie of Crossville, IL, Troy Lane (Crystal) McKenzie of Oblong, IL, Tresa Jane (Galen) Bowen of Flora, IL, Kevin Duane (Melissa) McKenzie of Oblong, IL, sisters; Delphia McCormick and Zelma (Bob) O’Neil both of Grayville, IL, 1 aunt; Beulah Mobley of Grayville, IL, 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 1 brother; Jack McKenzie and 1 infant brother.

Graveside service for Earl will be Friday, January 3, 2014 at 2pm at Oak Grove cemetery in Grayville, IL. There will be no visitation friends and family is asked to go directly to cemetery.

Memorials may be made to TIP VNA Hospice.
