Francis Charlene Keener

Charlene was born March 22, 1933 in Fairfield, IL. Her parents were Charles and Emma (Wagner) Odom. She married Thomas Keener, Jr. August 31, 1956 in Albion, IL and he preceded her in death December 9, 2010.

Charlene was born and raised in Pond Creek. She was a homemaker and loved antiques, sewing, cooking, and bird watching. She attended the Free Methodist Church of Albion. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Lisha (Babak) Keener of Rolling Meadows, IL, Lori (Marty) Phillips of Albion, IL, Lynn Keener of Evansville, IN, 1 son; Lonnie (Terri) Keener of Albion, IL, 2 sisters; Marilyn Elliott of Fairfield, IL, Margaret (Al) Erwin of Gilbert, AZ. She was also blessed with 6 grandchildren; Colby Keener, Caleb Keener, Noah Frymire, Leila Basaldua, Chelsea Keener, Alyssa (Greg) Parrott, 2 great-grandchildren; Thomas Basaldua and Katelyn Parrott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 granddaughter; Chelsea Keener.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 12:00pm at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Albion. Visitation will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Dr. Dennis Scranton Memorial Fund.
