Marjorie Marie Mix

Marjorie was born January 9, 1925 in Gilbertson, IL. Her parents were Charles and Anna (Marsh) Prater. She married William I. Mix, December 25, 1948 in Watseka, IL and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Marjorie loved cooking and they were “winter Texans” for several years. Her grandkids were her life.

She is survived by a daughter; Susan (John) Roberts of Cedartown, GA, son; Lowell ‘Pat” Mix of Fairfield, IL, brother; James (Carol) Prater, 3 grandchildren; Stephanie Crisp, Matthew (Brandie) Kelsey, Chuck Mix, 4 great-grandchildren; Dallas Kramer, Micah Crisp, Robbie Crisp, and Benjamin Kelsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons; Roger and Robert, 3 granddaughters; Kimberly, Krystal, and Kristina, 2 brothers; Leroy and Lowell and 1 sister; Genivive.

Per her wishes the body has been cremated and inurnment will be Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 2PM at Bunker cemetery in Rinard, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Donor’s Choice.
