Ruth Alice Cropper

Ruth was born July 19, 1944 in Fairfield, IL. Her parents were Charles V. and Flora (Hatlett) Harl. She married Dennis Cropper January 21, 1977 in Fairfield, IL.

She was a member of the Little Prairie Christian Church of Albion, IL. She loved to sew, garden, babysit, shop and especially enjoyed her grandkids and great-grandkids. In her younger days she enjoyed traveling and camping. She worked at Kern Manufacturing as a seamstress.

Ruth is survived by her husband; Dennis Cropper of Albion, IL, two daughters; Suzanne Kearnes, of Albion, IL, Miranda (Bryan) Higginson of Cowling, IL, one son; Robin Kearnes, of Albion, IL, two stepdaughters; Pamela and Denise, three sisters; Flora Jean (Albert) Wagner of Aurora, IL, Emma (Donnie) Troyer of Fairfield, IL, Dorothy (Alan) Aman of Osterburg, PA, 6 grandchildren; Kristina Conrad, Dawn Bunting, Blakely Higginson, Chelsea Carter, Raymond Higginson, Brianna Manning, one step-grandson; Dylan, and five great-grandchildren; Dezirae, Joesph, Hailey, Paige and Cloe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister; Mary Ann Beaman, and two brothers; Russell and David Harl.

No formal services are planned; per Ruth’s request.
