Anna M Heisler

Anna Marie (Washburn, Hitt) Heisler, age 70 of Springport passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 at her home under the loving care of her family and hospice. She was born March 16, 1953 in Grand Rapids. She was the daughter of Maxine and Marvin Stahl and they preceded her in death as well as her brother, Dudley Washburn.

On August 30, 2013, Anna was united in marriage to Robert Heisler and he survives. She also leaves her 3 daughters: Traci (Steven) Minix, Stacy Miller, Christy Hitt, 5 grandchildren: Zachary Minix, Mackenzie (Tyler) Pickard, Megan Minix, Ryan Jonas, Claire Robinson, 2 great-grandchildren: Zora Minix, Maebelle Kirchmeier-Minix; sisters: Marva (Bruce) Gallagher, Judy (Lyle) Blough, Gloria (Forest) Price and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Anna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who’s upbringing began on a farm where she bonded with her horse named Max and would walk to a one room school a mile from her home, even in the winter. She loved Elvis and country music, especially Kenny Rogers, Reba McEntire and Kenny Chesney. Anna loved spending time at the cabin of Robert’s family in Brethren, MI, water skiing and boating and loved to have fun with water balloon fights and playing many fun, unexpected pranks on her family.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will celebrate her life on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 1PM at the Springport VFW, 230 Mechanic St., Springport, MI.
