Armetta Ruth Pewsey

Armetta Ruth Pewsey died on February 19, 2014 at the age of 90 at Magnum Nursing Home, Albion, Michigan. Born January 27, 1924, Armetta was the loving daughter of Victor and Luella Coulson, a lifelong member of Saint James Episcopal Church and resident of Albion. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years Howard Pewsey, grandson Timothy, and nephew Thomas.

She is survived by her brother Victor (Mary) Coulson of Union City, sister Alberta Woog of Warren, four children Dennis (Angela) Pewsey of Apopka, FL, Kathleen Pewsey of Albion, Janice Pewsey of Ocoee, FL, and James (Karen) Pewsey of Concord, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, five nieces, and a nephew. Armetta was a member of the Historical Society and Friends of the Library. She loved to make pillows, loved animals, doing things for other people and she was always friendly and cheerful.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the ERIE STREET Chapel of J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 208 West Erie Street, Albion, Michigan 49224 and again on Sunday, February 23rd from 11:00AM- 1:00PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 2:00PM at the St. James Episcopal Church, 119 West Erie Street, Albion with

Rev. Mother Darlene Kuhn officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery,

Albion, Michigan.
