

Beatrice Calhoun, 65 of Marshall, lovingly known as “Bee”, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at her home. She was born March 4, 1948 in Tip Top, Kentucky to the union of Amos and Rebecca Coburn. She married Chester Calhoun on June 20, 1964, and they enjoyed 49 years of marriage.
“Bee” was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was most important to her. Her roots were also important to her as she looked forward to her annual trip to Tip Top, Kentucky for the Coal Camp Reunion and to visit with family and friends.
She was an avid gardener and loved humming birds. “Bee” attended East Eckford Church. She is survived by:

Loving Companion and faithful friend, Buddy.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, brothers Lonnie, Burl and Merl, Hager and Junior
sisters, Dockie, Betty and Virginia.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 21, at the funeral home with Pastor Ralph McCarty officiating. Burial will take place at West Clarendon Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to local Relay for Life.
