Bob Joe Payne

Bob J. Payne, 73, of Tompkins Center, passed away suddenly of Acute Pneumonia on October 30, 2012. He was preceded in death by his Parents Loren and Leota (Tuttle) Payne and Parents-in-law, Chuck and Jackie (Wellman) Thoman.

Bob was a loving husband and a loving, proud, supportive father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Carolyne and children Tiffany (Rob), Mike, John, and Julie; Grandchildren Steven, Tyler, Mikayla, Josh, Matthew, Kali (Al), Kraig, TJ, and Alex. Great Grandson “The Little Guy”, Kaden also survives.

Additional survivors are siblings Carl (Helen) Payne; Bonnie (Charlie) McClure; and siblings-in-law Bud (Lin) Thoman, Pat (John) Tuttle, and Marti Montbleau and many nieces, nephews, cousins …and good friends. Bob was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a Proud American Patriot, a member of the NRA and Tompkins Center Historical society… and a loyal Lions fan.

According to Bob’s wishes, Cremation was chosen and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
