Carla Sue Tison

Carla Tison passed away on January 13, 2023, at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital with her loved ones by her side. She was born on her Dads Birthday May 8, 1960 on Mothers Day in Danville, IL to Carl and Jane Tison and moved to Albion, MI in 1972. She was an avid concert goer and loved music, especially Earth, Wind, and Fire. Carla spent several decades working as a registered nurse in labor and delivery in Albion and then at Allegiance Hospital in Jackson. She was loved by her patients and co-workers and had a reputation for making everyone laugh. From boating, to grilling, enjoying the mountains, and just soaking up the sun, she loved being outside and spending time with her life partner, Paul Foust, and their pets Dexter and Daisy. Nothing made her more proud than her daughter and grandkids. Carla was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Jane Tison. She is survived by her daughter Jodi (Bruce Robinson) Johnson and grandchildren Carter, Kendall Jane, and Quinn Carlianne Robinson; brothers Terry (Elizabeth) Tison and Tom (Mary) Tison; sister Marianne (Eric) Dickerson; Nephews Brian (Laurie) Tison, Michael (Laura) Tison, and Luke Tison; nieces Katherine (Lindy) LaHatt and Kara Jane Tison. She also has one great niece, three great nephews and many cousins.

There will be a Celebration of life to honor Carla on June 24, 2023

at the Ismon House in Albion at the Garden level from 2-5pm with music, dancing and light refreshments.

There will also be a self serve taco bar for everyone.

Carla suffered from Crohns Disease from age 17.
