Dale was a great friend. He was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Always smiling and laughing. He will be missed by all. I worked in Albion at McDonalds and he was one of our regulars all he had to do was walking the door and by the time he got to the counter his food was ready. Always knew it was his truck coming down the road and the hand waving out the window as you passed him.

Sorry for your lose. My thoughts and prayers are with you. 
I worked at McDonald's in Albion and he was one of my favorite customers/family we always knew what to make him for breakfast, all he had to do was walk in the door and by the time he got to the counter it was ready. He had a great sense of humor and was always smiling what a great man.

I will miss you. You and I only met four years ago. I realized you were the person who visited our family dairy farm when I was around 10 yrs. old. In the last four years, you have gone by my house in Marshall 3-4 times per day. We had a "you" "hey" "Pam" "Dale" that we yelled at each other daily. I could see your red truck a mile away with the pole in front. We even saw each other in other area towns and many times we talked in Marshall. I went to your visitation and it was hard to see you, but I know you are at peace my friend.I will still leave your business card/picture on my fridge to remind me what a great person you were to all of us.

Dale made an impression on me when we went to the Lowel 4H fair.  He was proud of his Guernsy and did well.  He did seem to smile quiet a bit and enjoy life back then.

Dale, your happy "hey there" and happy go lucky attitude will be sadly missed.  Rest in peace.

Dale, you were always fun to talk to when you came into Tekonsha McDonald's. Man you love onions!  I always yelled "hi Dale!" and you yelled right back, "hi Dale!"....haven't seen you in years, other than a few times on m60...raising one hand out the window...you'll be missed man...all McDonald's in Calhoun county won't be the same without you...RIP

Dale you will be greatly missed,so glad you came into my life you will always have a special place in my heart.

I use to work for Dale's folks years and years ago. Throwing the bales of hay and straw that they dropped on the ground onto the trailer. They used to be great Grange members not only in Fredonia Grange but up in Rockford too. From all reports he will be missed. I always remember he was full of laughter and loved to be around people. God speed Dale.

From all of us at Tractor Supply, Dale will be sadly missed. We looked forward to visiting with him when he came into the store to purchase his cat food. He put a smile on our faces with his sunny disposition. A friend we will forever treasure.

You will be missed by many... Especially the four of us.  Your friendly wave and smile every time I passed that little red truck on the road, the empty seat at McDonalds and at our dinner table. You put many miles in your travel and it always amazed me how many people knew you from everywhere. You fought a long hard fight and it gives me peace knowing you are no longer in pain. Rest in peace my friend.
