Daryle Torrey

Battle Creek, Michigan. He was born in 1925 to Edwin and Flora Torrey in Homer, Michigan. In 1952 he married Phyllis Vandenberg who preceded him in death in February of 2000.

Daryle served his country in the Navy during WW II, he was a carpenter for Albion College for 30 years,

he loved to help with carpentry, restoring antique furniture and gardening.

Daughters- Rondie Torrey of Luddington

Tammy Swartz of Jackson

Monique Goheen of Battle Creek

Son- Todd (Elizabeth) Torrey of Wyoming

(4) Grandchildren

Brother- Clarence (Joann) Torrey of Albion

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Phyllis, two sisters and four brothers

According to his wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224 with Vicar Don Johnson officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Concord Township, Michigan.
