Diana West, a woman who truly lived life in "full color," passed away on March 16, 2026, in Albion, Michigan. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, on October 7, 1965, to Diane Marie Dennis and Bruce Dale West, Diana spent her life ensuring that no room she entered stayed quiet or dim for long.
Diana was larger than life. She was the life of the party in the truest sense, but her real gift was her heart. She lived to make people smile and she usually succeeded. Whether she was offering one of her legendary, soul-healing hugs or sharing a perfectly timed motivational quote to lift a friend’s spirit, Diana was a constant source of encouragement. You rarely saw her without a smile on her face, and she made it her mission to ensure you left her company with one on yours.
A woman of immense dedication, Diana took great pride in her career. She was a powerhouse of hard work during her time at Tenneco and Walmart, where she was known for her tireless work ethic. She was the kind of employee who didn’t just "clock in"; she showed up with purpose, often staying long hours to get the job done right.
When she wasn't working, Diana was likely surrounded by her family, her friends, and her beloved pups. She was a die-hard fan of the Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan. She loved nothing more than cruising down the road in her pride and joy, a red Chevy truck she affectionately named “Trail Boss Lady,” with rock music turned up high.
Diana’s legacy of joy and strength lives on through her daughter, Melissa; her cherished grandchildren, Nevaeh and Josephine; her great-granddaughter, Lei’Lani; and her best friend and partner-in-crime, Mary.
