
Age 38 passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 29, 2015. She was born March 23, 1977 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Charles Coleman and Clara Armstrong. Ebony leaves to cherish her memory her 6 children: De’Anthony Coleman, La’Passion Coleman, Dremion Coleman, Charles Coleman, Brionna Coleman and Christopher Coleman; sister, Theresa (Black & Smooth) Newell of Albion; brother, David (Big boy) Beck of Albion; aunts: Betty Moore of Albion, Diane Byrd of Lansing, Gladys Smith of Battle Creek, Benita Whitney; uncles: Danny Robinson of Utah, Gordy Whitney of Albion, Freddie Mohamed of Los Angeles, Gus (Lavon) Coleman of Los Angeles; nieces: Talina Johnson of AZ, Tauna Johnson of OK, Precious Johnson of Jackson; nephews: Tony Johnson of Milan, Robert (Pooh Butt) Johnson of Detroit, Raveela Johnson of Albion, Raven Brown of Wyoming, MI, Antonio Maxwell of Albion; great-nieces: Tessa Gray of Battle Creek, Tiara Brown of Albion, Tonie Johnson of Atlanta, GA, TyJah Johnson of Atlanta, GA; cousins: BooBoo Robinson of Albion, Afrika Byrd of Lansing, Crystal Smith of Battle Creek, Jason and Jakari Byrd of Lansing, James Whitney, Marlene Whitney and a host of other loved ones, special brothers-in-law, Donnie Garrett and R.V. Ebony was preceded in death by her mother Clara Ann Armstrong; grandmothers: Idella Robinson, Arlene Whitney, sister, Mary Jo Johnson and brothers: Robert (3rd shift) Beck and Charles Armstrong.
Ebony’s family will celebrate her life with a Home Going service on Saturday, October 10, 2015 with family hour at 11:00AM until the service at 12:00PM (NOON) at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 636 W. Van Buren Street, Battle Creek, MI with Pastor Timothy Troxler officiating.
