
Edna M. Edmonds, 96, of Albion passed away September 30, 2011 at her residence. She was born in 1915 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Jessie and Pearl Washington. In 1934 she married Roy Edmonds who preceded her in death in 1970.
Edna was a Domestic Engineer who worked in the home of Paul Eubanks, Frank Dean and the well known
Dr. Henderson. She was a member at Kingdom Hall. She enjoyed reading and Quilting. Edna especially enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows and photography. She is survived by:

Rosie (Hossie) Moye Hall of Albion
Peggy (Jimmy) Curry of Battle Creek
Teresa ( LeRoy) Smith of Albion
3 sons- Otis (Loretta) Edmonds of Albion
Lawrence (Bettie) Edmonds of Kalamazoo
Terry ( Marcena) Edmonds of Pieora IL
1 sister-Jessie Johnson of Grass Lake and
1 brother- Johnny Washington, Sr. of Jackson
(91) grandchildren, (87) great-grandchildren and (18) great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons Roy Lee, Jr., Raymond and Ritchie and a daughter Thelma Avant.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2011, at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion with Brother Rich Bertchinger officiating. Burial will follow at Albion Memory Gardens. A Family Hour will be held from 12:00 PM until time of service.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be Wednesday, October 5, from Noon until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home.
