Edwin L. Moore

Edwin L. Moore, age 81, of Fort Wayne, Indiana formerly of Albion, Michigan, passed away on July 18, 2011. He was born in 1930 in Albion, Michigan to Roy and Grace Moore. Edwin married Arlene E. French on July 21, 1951 and she preceded him in death on February 2, 2003. Edwin worked for Harvard Industries in Electrical Maintance. He spent 8 years in the National Guard. Edwin was a member of the Battle Creek Organ Club and the Mid-Michigan Mustanger’s. He belonged to the Civil War skirmishes group C Battery MI 1st Light Artillery. He also was active in the Stroke Club at the South West Rehab Center in Battle Creek. Edwin is survived by:

one daughter, Diane (Zane) Clark of Oregon City, OR.

one son, James (Lisa) Moore of Fort Wayne, IN.

and 2 Grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 25, 2011, at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion,

Michigan 49224, with Pastor Kevin Wendt officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 24, 2011, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.

A Memorial gathering is planned for the Fort Wayne friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, from 2-4PM, at Concordia Luthern Church located at 4245 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
