

Harry Reuben Fox, Jr. age 96 passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Marshall. He was born February 8, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio the son of Harry and Georgia (Haas) Fox, Sr. Harry served our country as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Margie Watson on October 13, 1944 in Marshall and she preceded him in death on February 10, 2011 after 66 years of marriage. In addition to his loving wife, Harry was also preceded in death by twin sister, Harriett, half-brother, Harold and son, Steven Fox.
Harry served on the Marshall Police Department from 1955 – 1966 and was a member of the Dexter Lake Church of God in Battle Creek. Harry also enjoyed farming over his years of working. Harry loved gardening, wood working and reading, especially religious titles.
Survivors include son, Dennis (Sharon) Fox, daughter-in-law, Gay Fox, 4 grandchildren: Trevor (Jen) Fox, Adam Fox, Elizabeth (Perry) Coleman and Timothy Fox and 7 great-grandchildren.
Harry’s family will celebrate his life on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:30AM at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan where a graveside service and Full Military Honors will take place.
