
born May 3, 1935 to Leo A. and Isabella (Nelson) Koch in Babcock, Michigan on the family farm.
On December 15, 1956 he married Kaye Jean Davis who preceded him in death March 1, 1995.
John served during the Korean War in the U.S. Marines. He had worked for Decker Manufacturing
in Albion for 47 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Homer, was an avid outdoorsman,
hunting, fishing and working around the yard, he spent some years farming and always enjoyed
a good practical joke, mostly playing them himself.
He will be dearly missed by:

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Kaye, brothers Al, William and Joseph,
sisters Betty, Leona, Mary and Mildred and son-in-law Bill Scott.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, May 3, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00P.M with a
Rosary being held at 6:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive,
Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 12:00 P.M.
at the funeral home with Father Joe Gray officiating. Burial will be at Albion Memory
Gardens, Albion.
