Josephine Ann Putnam, age 96 of Albion passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 in Battle Creek. Josephine was born March 13, 1921 in Paris, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Hazel (Cary) Tucker. She married Warren R. Putnam in July of 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2010.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Richard Tucker and sister, Dorothy Ewing.
Josephine is survived by a few nieces, nephews and cousins. She worked 38 years for McGraw Edison, attended the First Presbyterian Church of Albion and was a member of the Entre Nous Club. She also enjoyed traveling.
Josephine’s life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion with Pastor Charlotte Ellison officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband of 64 years in Albion Memory Gardens.
