Age 92, passed away on December 27, 2014 in Miami, FL. He was born on July 22, 1922 in Homer, Michigan and was the son of the late Harold and Lena Boyd.
He was a WWII Veteran who proudly served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1946. Larry was President of L W Boyd Tree & Lawn LLC in Miami, FL

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Williams Boyd. He will be missed by his sister’s Leora Galbreath (Bill) and Barbara Weston, his children: two daughter’s Frances Barger (Peter) and Suzanne Wirtz, two son’s Lawrence William Boyd Jr. (Michelle) and John Boyd (Ivette), 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren along with other family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from
10:00AM – 11:00AM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive,
Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 6th
at 11:00AM at the funeral home with Officiant Suzanne Wirtz, Lay Minister officiating.
Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Albion.
