Leonard Franklin Wenman Sr.

Leonard Wenman Sr., born to Jack Alton Wenman and Martha Youse on November 13, 1949 passed away at his home in the attendance of his loving family under hospice care, he had been battling cancer since 2000.

Leonard, Lenny or Len to his friends and family loved to fish and hunt – especially with his boys and brother –in-law. Many summers he could be found out on a lake or camping when the kids were younger. He loved to play pool and sing karaoke, which many of night you could find him doing one or the other He loved when his family enjoyed doing these thing as well – he always tried to “prep” for his game or song having his kids being the competitors or his audience. He was a CNC operator for most of his adult life, proving he was a very hard worker and good provider.

Len is survived by his children Sandy (Randy) Gibbs, Laura (Daryl) Anthony, Crystal (Jason) Wenman, Leonard (Lil Lenny) Wenman, and Michelle (Wayne) Wenman. His siblings Mary “Dotzy” (Jerry) Fisher, Jack (Beverly) Wenman, Donald “Duck” (Sharon) Wenman, Robert ”Bob” (Mary) Wenman, Richard "Dick" (Donna) Wenman, Rosemary “Rosie” (Ron) Wheeler, Michael “Mike” (Shelly) Wenman, and Kathleen “Kathy” (Dave) Cecil and many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Martha Wenman and son, Gerald “

Jer Bear” Wenman.

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 11:00am- 1:00pm

at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224 with the Funeral

Service following at 1:00PM with Pastor Jared May officiating. Burial will be at Albion
