Louis Peterson

November 9, 2012 at Magnum Health & Rehab of Adrian. He was 80 years old born

April 1, 1932 in Malone, Florida he was the only son of Emma Bryant and Rufus Peterson.

Louis left Florida as a young man and traveled to New York and New Jersey in search of

employment and adventure. He moved back to Florida, there he met Willie Jewell Crenshaw in

Panama City, they married and had three daughters. The family later moved to Albion, Michigan.

When he spent the majority of his life. His favorite pastimes included mowing and manicuring his

lawns, gardening, talking about God, astrology, drinking coffee, watching TV especially the news

he loved current events and politics and listening to country music all day long.

He worked at McGraw Edison for a short time then Brooks foundry for many years until

they closed then he retired. He was a quiet man and enjoyed the peace and serenity of home.

Louis is survived by:

Ex-Wife- Jewell Peterson of Albion

Daughters- Linda “Lynn” Loveless of Albion

Gladys (James) Seedorf of Battle Creek

(5)Grandchildren-Jaquita Lovelace, Darrington Lovelace, Barongiere Lovelace, Danielle Seedorf and

Moniquie Seedorf

(1) Great Grandson- Zhyaire Brown

Sister- Katherine Stewart of Maryland

He was preceded in death by a daughter Carolyn Denise Peterson, parents Emma Bryant-Stafford

and Rufus Peterson, sisters Dorothy Bryant and Evelyn Bryant.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at the Grace Temple

Church of God in Christ, 711 Grace Street, Albion, Michigan 49224 with Pastor Steve Williams

officiating. Family Hour will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.

Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion, Michigan.
