Mary Lou Mitchell

Mary Lou Mitchell, age 79 of Albion, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at her home under the loving care of her family. She was born February 2, 1937 in Pineapple, Alabama to Sam Stallworth and Eula Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam, Eula and Annie Mae Stallworth, 2 sisters: Bernice and Georgia and a brother, Sam. Mary Lou was a true Matriarch of her family. She enjoyed working, bowling, working in her yard and her garden but most of all spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory 4 children: Charmane (Marcus) Dewalt, Michael (Carolyn) Mitchell, Chizuyo (Joseph) Kurtz and Dion Mitchell; 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Marie and Patricia “Poppa” and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Mary’s family will celebrate her life by having a time of sharing on Friday, March 25, 2015 from 5-7 PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr. Albion, MI. Please join them at that time to pay your condolences and hear and share memories about her life.
