

Michael “Mike”Butters, age 63 of Hanover passed away suddenly Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan. He was born December 24, 1948 to Wallace and Ellen (Kreger) Butters in Albion, Michigan. On July 25, 1970 he married his sweetheart Lois A. England who survives.
He graduated from Concord High School. He was drafted in the Army shortly after
graduation where he served his country with honors. He was stationed in Bamburg, Germany.
He enjoyed the outdoors so much he’d rather be outside doing things. He loved going to his place
in Grayling; camping, visiting his friends, hunting and fishing. His favorite sport was
ice fishing. He loved his family; especially his grandchildren. He loved to play outdoors with them.

(4) Grandchildren- Kelsey, Alanna, Ross and Rylee
Mother- Ellen Dingman
Brothers- Wallace Butters of Concord
Barry Butters of New York
Steven (Tracey) Dingman of Round Rock, TX
Sister- Kathryn (Alan) Kunzman of Marengo, IL
Many nieces, nephews and cousins
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 9:00- 11:00 A.M. at the
Concord United Methodist Church, 119 South Main Street, Concord, Michigan 49237. Funeral
Service will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Rev. Michael Ortell officiating.
Burial will be at Pulaski Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Pulaski Free Methodist Church Building Fund which is available
at the church or the funeral home.
