
Myrtle J. Frazier, 78, of Homer, passed away Saturday September 22, 2012 at Allegiance Hospital in Jackson. She was born February 8, 1934 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Kelly and Gladis (Howard) Haywood. She was married to Garfield Pope and he preceded her in death in 1967, and then she married Clifford Frazier in 1970 and he preceded her in death February 27, 2012.
She had worked at Corning Glass Works in Albion until its closing. She was a Member of Christ Apostolic Church in Albion since 1955. She was a Homemaker, she enjoyed Baking, writing, and praising the Lord.
She is survived by 2 Daughters Mona Pope-Wilson and Jeanette Pope both of Albion; 2 Sons Stephen J. “Steve” Pope and Gar David Pope both of Jackson; 11 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren;3 Sisters Irene Fitzpatrick, Chris Hanks, and Altee Riddle all of Albion; and 1 Brother Jack Haywood also of Albion. She was preceded in death by a Twin Daughter Melissa; Son Michael, Granddaughter Charlene Super, and a Sister Avlee Mullins.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be Tuesday September 25, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224.Funeral Services will be Wednesday September 26, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home with Rev. David Trammell officiating. Burial will follow at Albion Memory Gardens- Albion Township, MI.
