Queenester Hawkins

West Virginia passed away December 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents Viola and Edward Smith, sisters Naomi Reeves, Ethellene Booth, brothers; Charles, John and Leroy Smith.

She is survived by her younger brother Nathaniel Smith, her three sons and their families:

Daughter; Randi (Jimmy), grandchildren Ivan, Lucas, and Liam

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She loved sports and tennis was her favorite, she loved the Lord, and was considered a “Mother” in the church. She served her church faithfully and served as a leader for the singles ministry prior to Covid. She enjoyed nature and watching the ducks and geese in the river. She was an avid reader, enjoyed word puzzles, and loved Jimmy Swaggert television ministry.

A family hour for Queenester will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Grace Temple Church of God in Christ, 711 Grace St, Albion, MI, followed by a home going celebration at 12:00 PM.
