Roberta Wilbur

Roberta Wilbur, age 69 of Albion passed away Sunday April 9, 2017 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 24, 1947 to Opal and the Late Willard Woods.

Roberta was employed by the Albion College as a Custodian and retired in 2016 after 45 years of dedicated service.

Roberta leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, her mother, Opal Woods, Homer, MI., daughter Shawn Bronson, Grand Ledge, MI., and one son, Shannon (Jessica) Bronson of Jackson, MI.; three grandchildren, Kaley D. Bronson, Blake A. Bronson, and Kenedi J. Haney; Sisters Betty (Rick) Strawcutter, Adrian, MI., Shirley (Brent ) Hollingworth, TX.; brothers Paul (Phyllis) Woods, Homer, William (Debbie) Woods, Albion, and Larry (Brenda) Woods of Albion.

She was preceded in death by her father, and two husbands, Dennis Bronson (1978) and George Wilbur (2011).

Private Viewing for family will be held Thursday, April 13, 2017.

Per Roberta’s request, cremation will follow and a Memorial Service will follow at a later date.
