Susan K Taber

Susan K. Taber, 70, of Albion passed away Thursday June 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born August 13, 1940 in Albion, Michigan to Ogden and Cecil (Dowding) Landenberger. She was married to Randy Taber March 14, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada and he survives.

She is a 1958 Graduate of Washington Gardner High School in Albion. She resided in Montgomery, Alabama for 3 Years and Brentwood, Tennessee for 6 Years before moving back to Albion in 1974. She worked at City Bank and Trust in Both Albion and Parma, retiring in 1995 from the Parma Branch. She enjoyed Yardwork, Landscaping, Flowers, Antiques, summers up north at the Cabin in Harrison, winters in Florida on Pine Island, and watching her Grandsons growing up and playing sports.

Besides her husband Randy, she is survived by 2 Sons Jeffrey (Sandra) Hawes and Scott (Carrie) Hawes both of Albion; 4 Grandsons Benjamin, Collin, Kaleb, and Braydon Hawes; 1 Sister Verla Nelson of Albion; 1 Brother Gary (Joyce ) Landenberger of Albion; Mother in law June Taber of Springport; Sister in law Connie Taber of Springport; 2 Brother in laws Jim (Susan ) Taber of Springport and Larry Taber of Albion; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Great Great Nieces and Nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by Brother in law Howard Nelson; Sister in law Pat Taber; and Father in law Richard Taber.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be Sunday June 19, 2011 from 1:00 – 5:00 at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. Funeral Services will be Monday June 20, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Melissa Claxton officiating. Burial will follow at Clarence Center Cemetery, Clarence Twonship.
