Vivian O Hawes

Vivian Olene Hawes age 93 of Jackson, formerly of Albion passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 under the loving care of her family and Hospice. She was born October 4, 1929 in Jackson the daughter of John and Eva (Brieninger) Coak. She was united in marriage to Charles Hawes on November 12, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Dorothy Hoffman and son-in-law, David Parks.

Vivian moved from Parma to Albion in 1991, was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Parma Literary Club and Parma Garden Club. She also attended Parma United Methodist and Pope United Methodist Churches.

Vivian leaves two children: son, Daniel (Sally) Hawes of Tompkins, daughter, Elizabeth Parks of Mason; 4 grandchildren: Brandie Holmes, Jacob (Amy) Hawes, Andrew Parks, Daniel (Heidi) Parks; 9 great-grandchildren: Jessica, Ashley, Joseph, Charlie, Valen, Lily, William, Jackson, Leah, Linkon and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest with her late husband, Charles in Chapel Cemetery in Parma, MI on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 1PM.
