Carolyn Mae McNair, age 69, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2016. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Ellen Williams; daughter, Anna Thomas; and grandson, Dasean Lowe. She is survived by her children, Fred and daughter-in-law, Cynthia, Robin, Lora and Michelle; sisters, Cheryl and Linda; 8 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, niece, Shantele; nephew, Chachi; and dear friend, Darrell Scalf. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2016, from 1:00-3:00 p.m., at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow.
