Crockett, Harold O. –age 88 of Alcoa died on Friday, September 24, 2010. He was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church for many years. He retired from the Air National Guard in 1977. He served with the U.S. Navy and in the U. S. Air Force in the Korean Crisis and Berlin Crisis. He was preceded in death by parents, John W. Sr. and Patty Crockett; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by wife of 60 + years, Ruby Crockett, 4 sister-in-laws; 1 brother-in-law; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Service will be on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Madison Avenue Baptist Church at 6:00 PM with Rev. Steve Hodges officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 PM prior to the service. Family and friends will meet on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
