Herman William Etherton, age 89 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021. Herman was a loving father who was always there for his family. His children were always first. The world needs more fathers like him. Herman was also a big Tennessee Vol Fan. He worked at Watson's Dept. Store for many years then left to run his own flooring installation business until he retired. Herman was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Etherton and grandson, Christopher Etherton.
Herman leaves behind 7 children, Michael Etherton & wife Gina, Teresa White & husband John, Jerry Etherton, Robert Etherton & wife Tammy, Dale Etherton & wife Percella, Tina Etherton Richardson, and Adam Etherton & wife Kim; 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
The family will have a Graveside Service at 11:00am on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens with Danny Scates officiating. Condolences may be left for the family at www.sherwoodchapel.com
