John W. Eakins II

John was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 23, 1962 to the late Arnold and Ruth Eakins. He was a member of Rio Revolution church. He was an active member of the community and enjoyed volunteering with Helping Hands every year. A kind heart and a beautiful soul, he spent his free time helping all of those around him in anyway he could manage.

John was a faithful employee of Melaleuca Inc. for 24 years. He cherished every moment he got to spend helping the company reach new heights. His favorite way to relax and create memories were his deep sea fishing adventures with his son. He felt the most free and at peace on the open water with his favorite company.

He always had a warming comforting presence that would radiate and infect others, lifting their spirits and bringing them joy and laughter.

He is survived by his children, and several grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens, located at 3176 Airport Highway, Alcoa, TN, 37701, on February 7, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will start at 12:00 PM, with the committal to follow.
