Lotte Winter (May 12, 1929 – December 30, 2025) passed away recently at the age of 96, leaving behind a legacy defined by devotion and hard work. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Heinz and her granddaughter, Jessica.
Left to carry on her memory and legacy are her children: Angela (husband Boyd) and Paul (wife Robin), as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as "Oma" and "Granny W."
Born in Germany, Lotte eventually immigrated to Canada, and then the United States with her husband, Heinz. They lived in New Jersey for many years before moving to Florida in 1980. After her husband's passing in 2017, Lotte moved to Tennessee to be closer to her family.
Lotte rose through the ranks in her career from a bank teller to eventually becoming Vice President of the Mortgage Department. She was just as active in her free time, volunteering thousands of hours at Cape Coral Hospital and also serving as a leader at the German American Social Club. She even earned the title of "Shooting Queen" for her impressive sharpshooting skills. Oktoberfest at the club was a never to be missed event for both her and her husband.
She loved to sew, knit, travel, and let's not forget her love of shopping for herself and her cherished grandchildren, who will always remember her ever-present bowl of M&M's for them.
In keeping with her wishes, the family will hold small, private gatherings in both Tennessee and Florida. There are no public services scheduled at this time.
