

Raymond Harmon age 72 went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2013. He was born on November 25th, 1940 in Blount County, TN. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was one who loved to fish, camp, and play cards with anyone who would play. He had a story for almost anything. Raymond made a career in the US Army where he retired after 25 years as an E7 Drill Sargent. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward and Audine Harmon, Brother JC Harmon, and son Ray Harmon. Survivors include; wife of 10 years Judy (Barber) Harmon, sons; Daniel and wife Jenny Harmon of Maryville, Charles Harmon of Maryville, daughter; Saundra Harmon of Maryville, stepsons; Rickie Foster of Maryville, Joseph Foster of Maryville, stepdaughter; Patricia and husband Colin Lynch of Seymour, grandchildren; Joey Headrick, Christy Harmon, Jayden Harmon, Ashley Beaver, Chase Foster, Elizabeth Foster, and Rachel Horton, brother; Bob and wife Debbie Harmon of Alcoa, special cousins; Rex and Joyce Everett, Pearl Harmon, family friend Kay Harmon, ; plus several other great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and Friends will receive friends on Monday October 14, 2013 at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens on Alcoa Hwy from 1 to 2pm. Funeral services will begin at 2pm with burial to follow. Reverends Mike Clore, Ray Barber, and Raymond Clore will be officiating.
