Tilson, Richard, 63, of Knoxville passed away on Thursday May 14th, 2015. He was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church. He worked for many years as an engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Preceded in death by parents Howard and Pearl Tilson, beloved sister Peggy Roberts, step son Donnie McGuire. Survived by wife of 19 years Donna Tilson, brothers and wives Eddie and Sherry Tilson, Mike and Pat Tilson, Gary and Patty Tilson, Donald Tilson, and Jerry and Wanda Tilson. Children Misty Shakee, Amber Lindsay and Dillion Tilson. Step-children Billy McGuire and Lisa Hutchinson. Several nieces and nephews. Special friend Eddie Ray. Services will be on Sunday, May 17th, 2015 at 2:30pm with Rev. Phillip Murphy at Sherwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:30pm prior to the service.
