Julie Ina Lagace

Julie Ina Lagace, 57 years of age from North Delta, BC, passed away peacefully at 8:15 December 10, 2019 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital after a struggle with cancer. She was with family at the time of her death.

Julie was a very pure and loving individual who enjoyed life. She put both feet forward and started school at Simon Cunningham Elementary in Delta/Surrey. Julie spent more of her life under the care and guidance of Delta Community Living Society in Ladner. Her last year she was placed in Cabeldu Group Home. Julie called this home.

Julie was predeceased by her grandparents, Margaret and William Campbell as well as her nana Marie Lagace and her father Raoul Lagace on December 27, 2004. Julie is survived by her mother Roberta Lagace and her siblings Catherine Shae (Douglas), Lori Browne(Gerald "Gerry") Moerman, Brian Lagace, Belinda Lalonde, Colleen Lalonde, stepmother Mrs. D Lalonde and many nieces and nephews and grand nephew Elias. Julie was closest to her niece Alicia Browne.

Julie is also survived by her many caregivers, remembering Evonka and Miranko. The caregivers at Cabeldu and the other roommates Krisi and Kim. Special thanks to the staff at Holmberg Hospice and Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

A tribute service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 27555 31st Avenue, Aldergrove, BC on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Delta Community Living Society www.dcls.ca/donate for programs that fall outside of government contracts.
