Lewis Lars Hagen was born on April 26th, 1933 and raised in East Coulee, Alberta. Being a prairie boy, at the age of 18, he joined the Royal Canadian Navy. He was very proud of his service during the Korean War, and remained an active Legion member until his passing. Having several careers over his lifetime, he also spent many years with the BC ambulance service as a paramedic. In later life he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He passed away August 9th 2021 at The George Derby Center, where he received the highest level of care. The family would like to thank ALL his staff and caregivers at the center for the tremendous job they did caring for dad. He will be missed and remembered by family and friends.
